JetEngine is seeking a talented and enthusiastic Rust Software Engineering Intern to join our growing team to develop PulsejetDB. As an intern, you'll gain valuable experience working on real-world problems and play a key role in shaping the future of our vector platform.
Responsibilities:
- Contribute to the development and maintenance of our core platform written in Rust.
- Collaborate with senior engineers to design, implement, and test new features of the platform’s adapter development.
- Assist with writing clean, efficient, and well-documented code.
- Participate in code reviews and learn best practices for software development.
- Conduct research and explore innovative solutions for data processing and feature engineering.
- Gain hands-on experience with real-time data pipelines and machine learning workflows.
- Learn and leverage the power of the Rust programming language.
Qualifications:
- Strong understanding of fundamental computer science concepts (algorithms, data structures, etc.)
- Experience with a high-level programming language (e.g., Rust, Python, Elixir)
- Familiarity with software development methodologies (e.g., Agile)
- A passion for learning and exploring new technologies
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team

- Experience with Rust programming language
